　YASDA precision vices now have a new option.
Ordinarily, customers select vice models from the series of precision vices to fit the size of the work piece. Our newly developed combination vice was created by attaching the fixed sleeve to a different member, and therefore enables even a small model to clamp a large piece, because the span between the fixes sleeve and movable sleeve can be widened. With larger pieces, an intermediate block can be used to provide extra support.

For the main blocks, subblocks, and intermediate blocks alike, we assure a thickness measurement precision variance of ±4μm. This, in turn, assures the parallelism of the machine table surface and the piece even if two or more blocks are used.
Even customers who are already using YASDA precision vices can make them into combination models by purchasing only subblocks and intermediate blocks.
